PROCESS

As a printmaker, process forms an integral part of my work, guiding the direction of an image from idea to finished print. Each step of the process is an opportunity to evaluate and respond to what is developing, creating a momentum of its own and leading the work to move beyond the limitations of the initial idea.​

 

A print is created by taking an impression on paper from a prepared matrix (wood/lino block, metal or stone) usually by means of a press. You can read more about the various processes that I use for my work below.
